At Home Prenatal Workouts

The coronavirus has put us all in a state of uncertainty and has forced us to practice this new concept of social distancing. It’s hard, overwhelming, and can cause some serious stress! I am currently 27 weeks pregnant and while I’m doing everything I can to stay calm and not worry about the future state of hospitals, some days I’m not very successful. With that being said, now more than ever is a time we need to keep ourselves healthy and sweat the stress! Working out is always my go to during tough times and this is no exception. As a mom and personal trainer, I want to help you keep up with your workouts and stay motivated so I have two exciting things to share.

My Facebook Accountability Group

I put together a Facebook accountability group where I am sharing motivation and at home workouts. The workouts will be a variety of bodyweight exercises and dumbbell exercises (if you have some available at home). They are for all fitness levels, but I am sharing a separate workout plan for pre & postnatal. I have resources below for all my pregnant Mamas! If you need some extra accountability during this time, please send me a message on my Sweat the Stress Fitness page (and like it!) and I will add you.

At Home Prenatal Workouts

I have been doing prenatal workouts from Girls Gone Strong, they are AMAZING and I am currently getting pre & postnatal certified through them. I have learned SO much and I love sharing it with other Mamas who are looking for some guidance. I am working on a blog series for each trimester with exercise guidelines & workout ideas. So far, I have published Part 1 – 1st trimester Exercise Guidelines and am working on getting out Part 2 & 3 in the coming weeks so stay tuned! For now, I am sharing 3 at home 6 week training programs for each trimester that you can start doing NOW to sweat some serious corona stress. Girls Gone Strong has worked really hard to create these and is graciously allowing us to share them with our audience so I give them all the credit. If you would take a second to like them on Facebook, I’m sure they would appreciate it. They have created PDF’s with workout instructions and links to exercise demos to help you stay safe and healthy.

If you plan to do these programs, I would love to know how you are doing and help motivate you! Please send me a message on my Sweat the Stress Fitness page to be added to my online accountability group. The more the merrier!

I hope these workouts bring a little less stress, a little more positivity, and a lot of sweat! Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions and stay healthy!
